Ever just want to walk and walk and walk and walk until you stop thinking or worrying? Ever wonder why you think that would work?

posted this last night

Tonight I had a good day at work, I felt very accomplished moving three quarters of an isle of merchandise to another isle all by myself. I then got to go to the Festal Liturgy for the Dormition of the Mother of God. It was very beautiful, I worked to force myself to listen to the hymns so I could hear and understand as much as possible. After Liturgy there was a blessing for flowers and herbs. We all got either flowers or herbs when we left, I was given some wonderful smelling herbs and then it was off to eat! Considering my fasting was not as successful as it could have been I didn't feel compelled to stuff myself with all the food i hadn't really been keeping out of my body. But I had good conversation with some people. It's ironic how 15 days before I leave the country I am starting to establish relationships... Oh well better late than never. Anyway, things are looking pretty up for me right now, this Saturday I've been invited to go to Six Flags with some of the guys from church so that should be fun. My first outing besides the Philadelphia Zoo this summer lol.I wish that was more of an exaggeration but it really isn\'t alll that much. Anyway, 4 more days of work yay! I had coffee at 9tonight bad idea. But I must try to sleep anywya.
Goodnight

Yay, cool news and an answer for January

Ok, so this fall I am going to Russia to study for a semester in Nizhni Novgorod. Another student from my college is also going with me who also happens to be Orthodox. Well, he e-mailed to me today to tell me that there is another girl that will be with us in Russia who is also Orthodox. I was so excited to hear that.

Following my semester in Russia after a quick trip back to PA for Christmas with my parents I will be going to the monastery near my school to live there for 3/12 weeks!!!! I am doing an independent research project on the development of this small Romanian monastery and I am really excited about it. I have no real method or idea of how I'm going to structure the project but just being able to stay there all of January is a blessing enough.
